Infection Control
Hello,
On behalf of our entire staff at Denture & Implant Center of Fresno we want to thank you for choosing our office for your dental care. The fact that you have chosen and trust us inspires us to deliver the excellent dental experience that has been our calling card since we began caring for you.
Your health and safety are, and will always be, paramount to us. As the public health concern surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) grows, we want to keep you informed on the precautionary steps we are taking. We are working hard to do everything we can to be prepared and address your concerns. We are closely monitoring the recommendations that are being updated daily by the California Dental Association and The American Dental Association and are making decisions based on those. At this time our office is open for all services. Our front desk will be calling to reschedule appointments that had been cancelled previously for COVID-19.
Rest assured; we are taking every precaution necessary to mitigate the spread of the virus. To that end, we want to share some of the steps we are taking:
- Starting August 9th we will be following the state's mandate provided by Governor Newsome
- We have prevention programs in place to reduce the likelihood that our office would be affected by the Coronavirus, including educating our staff, monitoring of potential outbreaks, communicating and coordinating with critical service providers and suppliers and assuring you that we have always had the highest standards of hygiene training and protocols in place within our office. We continue to be vigilant in disinfecting frequently touched common areas within our office and have hand sanitizer available for use throughout the entire facility.
- We continue to monitor our staff and take appropriate action to reduce exposure if an employee is exhibiting flu like symptoms. We instruct all patients who exhibit any signs of illness to stay home. As always, our clinical staff use face shields, masks, gloves, safety glasses and surgical gowns. As always, between each and every patient, our operatories are completely disinfected. All instruments, devices or anything touched is either sterilized or disposed of. Our infection control is OSHA compliant and something we take very seriously.
We value you, our patient, and your loyalty and trust are important to us.
Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We will be happy to discuss details of our infection control program with you.
Sincerely,
Dr. Mark L. Davis D.D.S.
